for a 454, i'd say a 4.0 Whipple sounds like a better fit - that's a HECK of a lot of air to try & pump with a 2.3L

sorry to hear it's been rough lately & if it helps, i ain't been able to do nothing to my car in a year either - i added a woman to my life. doubtful if i'll ever get that 416 in there now

There is rumor the 4.5 Wipple front inlet is coming out. I would think that would be much better for that many cubes. Don't forget the Camaro with the 5.3 came with a 4.0 Whipple. You will be moving much more air.

Yeah but I think 11 to 1 will give it a wee bit more punch.
