You are fricking crazy Mr.
That HUFFER is WAY too small. You are going to need a overdriven crank and rear with a 2.7 to see 8lbs.
I got you deep on the tq side. HP coming, thanks to a buddy hooking me up with some parts.

Initial plans were to build a budget 408 NA stroker, or sell my Truck TVS to fund a 454 crate swap. During my quest I stumbled onto a 4.125/4.185 rotating assembly i could not pass up. Worked out a great deal with my engine builder and here i am. While still keeping things in perspective i figured why not give a shot at working both the TVS and the 454 together. Hell Whats the worst that can happen? Right!?!
I need to swap out the reluctor on the 427, and since the crank is getting pulled it will get a fresh start with new rings and bearings before it gets dropped in the Camaro.
I will try to start loading some pic's of the progress of both LSX combo's this week.
who is calling the kettle black!?! You get that new inlet Rat?

Sounds like a torque monster.. I will be watching as I'm curious to how this turns out.. The blower may not be that big but like you say your not spinning it past 6k and with the right cam it will be a beast down low

Life just got in the way! Been dealing with some hardship and concentrating on the basics these last few months, modding in my mind has kept me going, the 454 is still a go, just on theback burner, the Camaro is in storage, and a good place and time. A buck forty plus in a blink is just too too easy and I need some serious restraint!!! The twisted 7.0 ZLR I built is well minus some supporting hardware is done. somewhere @840 to the wheels is what I hope
That alone should get a good party started.
As for the tvs on the 454.... I'm thinking....... Whipple may be a better fit
Kicking around a ls7x headed 4.0 whipple, stacked on to my 454 shortblock
In the mean time I need to stuff a bunch o money back into the bank!
