Default My turn to get Blown R TVS1900

My Roush TVS 1900 just arrived.

Very well packaged,

Im impressed with the quality of this kit! Cant wait to install, just thought i would share some pics.

For the money you cant go wrong with this, Excited to have forced induction again!

Stamped " EATON " right on the side.

Just some quick pics i took. Came with lots of goodies, Heat exchanger, New 42# injectors, Irridium plugs for boosted application.

I think my cammed 6.0 and 6#'s of boost will be a sweet street truck!

Congrats Tim! Looks like u didn't wait too long once u knew u wanted to go Maggie. Apparently u valued price over sound, cause I know u wanted a lil whine. Only whining will be your competition after u spank em.

With that cam you really need to get a free breathing exhaust on that thing.

Thankyou sir! Yes, i did want some whine bud! But the price of the kit sounded better than the whining my wife would have done if i went the more expensive route LOL.

Yeah Cody, i have stock manifolds for now, one thing at a time, but i will be putting headers on soon. Kinda want it to not be so loud, just a nice, fun daily driver. We will see as i begin driving it.

Thanks! Its your guys/ fault posting up these goodies you buy!

I hope its a lot better than my STS setup, i loved how that turbo sounded but i wanted more than a mid 13 sec truck with all the money i spent on it.

I really did want to get a KB kit, but was always curious about blowers, so this was a no brainer for my situation.

Now i need to track down the rest of the needed parts, already have the NNBS water pump, so im on a start. Need to find the specifics on what i need to do for a MAP sensor and whatever else i may need.

Those intake ports look like they are for the L92 heads.

No Dustin, see the injector hole above rectangle port? That's the top of the cathedral port,

I actually like the lower manifold of these blowers better then the Maggie, it has actual runners to the head ports as where the Maggie is just an open tub with openings into the heads. The Maggies are a lot lower profile blower though.

Roush

Maggie

Kyle, other than profile, will that difference be seen by anyone as it relates to power? Or is it just a wash?

IDK, it's hard to say unless some one back to backs them on a dyno. I would think pound for pound they would be VERY close since its the same compressor rotors. I think dollar/hp there is a clear winner right now... but these are limited time offer... Maggie will still be there with new units down the road. You'll probably still be able to get these Roush head units though, cuz I think they uses them in other applications as well, just won't be able to get full GM kits once they're gone. Rumor has it there was about 90-100 of them made
