Congrats Tim!. My belt slips also(squeals) on the 1-2 shift, but it did that before the supercharger also. Glad to hear your tune is good.

Just finished my boost gauge install,

Im making exactly 5#'s of boost.

Truck runs very nice! I want more boost though, im never happy!!!

I should stop right here as she is a fun daily driver!

But im going to check on pulley options next. Shouldnt be a big Deal.




06vortecmaxxx I bought a shorter Belt today that works great, no slack or squeal at all.

I will go out and get the number and PM you as well as edit this post !

Had to get a Dayco for now, i have a goodyear gatorback on order

EDIT:

Goodyear Gatorback- 4061112

NAPA - 25061115

DAYCO- 5061115.

I've had better luck with the Dayco polycogs.

Thanks! you sir have a bad MFN Truck!!

I was told the goodyear were better, but i'll just keep my dayco on till i have an issue.

Congrats man....i need to get a boost gauge... may have to check into the belt too just incase, but i dont think mine has slipped yet....

Thanks Tom! / Guys!

My silicone coupling hasnt shown up yet, i cant let you see my home depot coupling on there!!!!! LOL

I will put some up soon, nothing spectacular, but they may help the next guy that does this.

I had nothing but bad luck with dayco. Gatorbacks worked the best for me
