My truck setup is in my sig. My pipes are wrapped. I finally got to the track and ran a 7.91 with a 1.79 60ft. I don't want a larger converter because this is my DD. I want to leave harder and keep my setup pretty much the way it is. I am considering a small shot off the line or a hydroboost swap. Any STS guys done a Hydo swap? I would LOVE to leave on a few psi!
I did search because I know its been covered before.

When you're at the tree, put it in neutral and rev the motor up while pushing down on the brake as hard as you can. You will feel the brake pedal sink down a little deeper. Then put it in gear and rev it up with your foot still on the brake. I was able to make a little over 7lbs this way and with a regular brake stall i can barely get 1 psi before going through the brakes.
When you rev it in neutral the vacuum increases so you can charge up the brake booster and have stronger brakes.
