Need help with turbo installation
I've got a 2003 chevy silverado with a 5.3 litre v8. I really want to install a turbo on it and I have a turbo off of 99 cummins. I dont want to buy a remote mounted turbo although I like them since I already have a turbo is there any way to buy enough parts to make it work without changing much?

i used a turbo from a dt 466 international harvester which is alot bigger then the cummins its not the perfect turbo for your app but i used mine on a 350 chev worked great no tune stock injectors just keep the boost down mount the turbo up front easier to get oil to and have plenty of oil drain back i built my own headers but they have some out there to buy and get a air to water intercooler my intake temps got high the air to air cooler didnt cut it

Okay I probably should've clarified a little more but I'm a newbie to the forums..I have the pipes and wastegate and BOV and tune and oil lines..i'm not doing injectors because a guy did a similar project and left everything stock except for the exhaust, intake, and tune....I'm looking at 7-8 psi for boost...I was seeing what you guys would think will be my biggest problem..not going for a monster horsepower rig just something different
