234/232 598/595 115+1

I believe Parish8 ran this cam with the same setup you have. I'd say it's a proven combo.

IIRC parish's cam was a 230/236 595/601 115+2 not a 234/232 598/595 115+1 also i think quik bought parish's cam and now runs it in his 4.8, IIRC quik ran the cam grind numbers off the cam after he got it from parish and came out to be 230/236/595/601 115 +2

just clarifing things alittle

i wouldnt run that in a 408

the cam spec'd out above would be a solid cam for your setup

Why not? Parish said in retrospect that the 234/232 is probably too big

well i shouldnt have said not in a 408, im sure it would be a decent cam, i know a few ppl that have run it.

OP said he wanted some chop in his setup, i doubt with that cam being small in a 408 that it would hit any, on the other hand that 234 cam is bigger would hit more on the right lsa, i know lsa has alot to do with the lope but the duration plays a factor as well
