Default Need some help diagnosing some problems.

Ok guys, I got my side mount Magnacharger up and running with the relocated IAT sensor. But it is still throwing a few codes. I checked them out and they were P0151 HO2S Circuit Bank 2 Sensor 1 Lean, P0171 Fuel Trim Bank 1 Lean, P0174 Fuel Trim Bank 2 Lean. Can anyone tell me what these mean and what is the possible problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your A/F is lean or you have an exhaust leak would be my guess. If you haven't tuned for the boost I would say you are simply lean.... don't drive it hard until tuned.

Oh it is deffinitely tuned. I have the stock Magnacharger tune. You say that it could be an exhaust leak. That is funny bacause I always thought that I had a little leak near the drivers side manifold, but it seems really small. If there is a leak there why is it tripping the codes?

So what do you guys think? Should I replace the exhaust gaskets after the manifolds? More than likely would they be the ones causing the leak?

I would fix the exhaust leak. Since you have codes for both sides I doubt now that it is exhaust. Could be a vacuum leak somewhere. Anyway to look at your fuel pressure?

I am looking for a place around here that has the correct gaskets. If I can find them I will replace them today. Would AutoTap be able to check fuel pressure. I have been using my friends comp. to check and delete the codes. I guess I would need a laptop too. A vacum leak before the sc could cause these codes?

vacuum leak's are most likely the problem. my dad's ford had these type of code's and they drove us nuts like bank 2 lean and so on but we did find it. Chris P.S. actron cp 9150 code readers obd1 and obd2 is cheap for around $300.00

Have to mechanically hook up a guage to the fuel rails to check fuel pressure. A vacuum leak anywhere after the MAF sensor would put in air to the engine that the MAF wouldn't calculate fueling for.

Default This is COLDZ71!!!

Hey guys this is not supajut. This is COLDZ71. Computer decided to **** to bed inbetween working on the truck and posting on here. I found a loose hose and tightened it up and went for another spin. Truck ran great but abuout 10 miles into the ride got a ses light. I got a PO131 and a p0151. I think they are my o2s. Any idea why they are tripping the codes. Also when the ses light comes on the truck will barely run. Was just able to make it home last night being very easy on it. Appreciate the help guys.

COLDZ71.

Hey guys this is still COLDZ71. Checked out my exhaust a little closer and it is leaking right at the exhaust manifold. The first cylinder on the drivers side bank is where it is leaking. Could this be why the codes are tripping?
