Default Nervous about my fuel system..

A fellow member questioned my fuel system and it has me thinking.

My truck has a return style fuel system.

To install the TVS 1900 i had to use NNBS fuel rails which are returnless.

To adapt my fuel system to the NNBS single fuel rail, I used the corvette style regulator, which has a supply and return in back, and outlet that attaches and feeds the NNBS fuel rail.

Now im running 5 PSI. All is good.

But when i run 10 PSI , will i be OK ?

Because the stock regulator is vaccum , the corvette style is not?

What is going to increae the PSI? Or is it fine as is ?

See what im getting at??

I just hope the way its plumbed is OK, im gettin tired of modifying! But want to be safe.

Going to be installing a Walbro 255lph next couple days.

Sorry , not the best picture of my reg setup.

With that flexible crossover you could make the return style work. That is how i got it to fit on a TBSS intake on mine.

Just make sure your tune (ifr table) is set up like a returnless system. The return style system has the ifr table set in a flat line, and returnless has the ifr table set up in a curve.

............................................I think that's right?!

I checked fuel psi today after i got a guage.

At Idle psi was 70! (this is with stock pump, have a bigger one on the way)

At wot the needle bounced between 45 and 65, couldnt get a god reading as the needle really moved all the hell over the place.

The corvette reg i have is spose to let 60psi to the rail,

so SDPC is sending me a new one.

Now im wandering if i need a vacuum refenced type of reg to go with my return style system??

Man just when i thought every thing was going good.

Thats right Bill. Return is one value across the board, where as returnless is scaled to compensate for the pressure drop that is encountered at WO or Boost. Injector Offset table must be scaled to for a Returnless system.
