Think all supercharger companies drop the ball from time to time when it comes to customer service. Whipple really pissed off a lot of people when they putoff the IC Whipple kit for the 2V 5.4's in favor of the 3V's. I had cash in hand and just kept getting the same e-mail response...just a few more weeks...for about 6 - 7 months. Just said **** it and bought a ProCharger. Costs less and I make more power.

well I saw this system first hand today at the Del Mar Good Guys show. Very nice setup. Fit and finish looked to be top notch. the 2.6L S/C was larger than I expected it to be, but in a good way.

I'm NOT "in the know" ... but KB shows a REMOTE mount supercharger for the trucks "Coming Soon" on their website... as in add a water-to-air intercooler to an existing non-intercooled kit. Kinda bandaid if ya ask me. I, for one, hope KB completes a full scale engineering analysis of which setup is better... remote mount or on manifold. Pro's and con's either way... I'm sure KB will come through for the heavy's (trucks / SUV's). One thing is for certain... the on manifold setup is TIGHT lookin'

Well I am not a expert however the remote mount does take up more room being that it is not in place of the intake manifold however I feel that there is less heat soak with a remote mount. I dont really know. I know that my KB does seem to cool off fairly quick when the truck is shut down vs. a standard top mount. I started a air to air intercooler for mine however that project got put on hold due to other reasons ( Basically too busy at the moment) however I am looking to get back in gear on it. I am really looking forward to seeing what my IAT's will be with a front mount air to air. I am glad to see that they are coming out with a 2.6L blower and maybe putting some focus on the GM market. The more FI options the better. Now they just have to get there customer service up too par.

I think if this blower performs as expected it would make a very good candidate for a 400+CI motor. One thing is for sure the low end torque of the twin screws is sweet, and I know mine does not run out of steam on the top end either.

Thats funny, I just walked in to synergy yesterday and seen that sitting on the bench. Looks sweet. 18lbs of boost, thats hot! 850hp! oh boy! Its about time they did something for the LSX motors. I agree with the issues of customer service. We had issues with KB when I was hoppin up the GMC Typhoon and Syclones. Products where good but customer service sucked! I hated dealing with them.

Sorry typo, I fixed it. I was saying that it does not run out of steam, and the low end is great. It builds boost instantly.
