OK, I'll be the first to ask the obvious question

Anybody got any idea if/when a retro R2.3L TVS will be available?

nice eff numbers. from what i am seeing the r1900 will have to be spun faster to have the same airflow at the 2300ax but even at the higher rpms it is more eff. i think when spun up the 2300ax would have a higher peek airflow and hp than the r1900 but only slightly and if the r2300 has similur eff numbers it will kill the 2300ax.

it is nice to see manufactures improve their products. seems like for a lot of years the blower market was stagnet with the same old head units. eaton is really steping things up.

if you look at the charts based on their eff areas the R1900 clearly outflows the 2300, since we cant see the rest of the chart that is all speculation , I imagine we don't see those areas for a reason, but if we did extend the eff trends in theory the R1900 will stay more efficient and outflow the 2300, albeit at a higher blower rpm.........at least that's how I see it

maybe i am reading the chart wrong but where is the 1900 outflowing the 2300? it is more efficient but i dont see where it is outflowing it.

edit... yeah, i guess your right if you just look at the top line of the charts given and the r1900 is even at a higher eff. looks sweet

for example, going off the flow charts @ 2.0 pressure ratio the max values indicated are about 997cfm for the lysholm and for the R1900 about 1178 cfm, and the R1900 is more efficient to boot.

unless my math is screwy, the R1900 does and will outflow the 2300.
