Default New Front Mount Turbo Kit - 1/4 mile results

Ok guys, we're getting it done one step at a time. Soon there will be HP numbers, but who reallys cares about that.

Refresh on the test truck:
'06 Sierra, ext cab, 4x4, 33" tires (hp eaters), new front mount turbo with 5-6 psi, intercooled.

We just got back and we're very pleased with the results.
Stock this truck ran a 16.8 in the 1/4, yes slow because of the 33" tires and fully loaded tool box.

With the turbo kit, he ran a best so far, 14.3 @ 96 mph.

This was the first time out at the track with the new kit, only 2 runs tonight, but we'll try again later.

So does the kit work, hell ya!
That's 2.5 secs off the stock time!!

Oh ya, 1/4 mile time has a lot to do with your 60', his was a 2.18, but don't run against this truck on the street from a roll. On the way out there, we both blew away a MachI and a brand new Porsche (not sure what kind, but non turbo)

This truck will easily do 135mph as well

later,
allen

Yeah, i was launching in 4wd with 5psi, surprised the hell out of everybody to see a z71 extended cab come off the line like that. The track was a a little slick and cold, on a dry, cold day i think we would see some better numbers.

We're going to head out to SAR track pretty soon to see what it can do. It was his first time at the track with the turbo setup, with a little pratice and tweeking the tune and setup, I think a 14.0 or 13.9 is very possible.

More importantly, the kit has been flawless on the street. Making boost very easily and performaning well!

We'll get some more pics and videos of the truck moving down the track this weekend, just need to dowload them from the camera.

thanks,
allen

Those were some nice runs, truck was moving fast for a big stock looking truck and the tool box.

Allen,
very nice for sure. You thinking of turning the wick up a little . Or just having fun.
lets see Truck weighs what 6000 lbs. 14 second pass. I would say plenty of power.
More kits coming.
