Not really. This Vortech unit has an integral bypass and I still pull vacuum while cruising down the highway.

It is nearly impossible to bypass an internal compression device. There is ALWAYS going to be compression in the housing. If those screws are turning, they are squeezing the air.....PERIOD.

It does have a bypass and I do pull vacuum unless I tip the throttle in. Point being I'm not wasting power building max boost while cruising. My cruising mpg increased after the install. That is efficient enough for me.

Sounds like you better start your own thread on the glories of the Eaton blower. Then I can could go read it when I need a breath of hot air (pun intended).

You guys are talking apples and oranges. Ya the Maggy is gonna be more efficient when in cruising state, but who who cares about that the question here is the twin screw or the maggie more efficient when making boost! :nunchuk1:haha
