Default new whipple 2.9 on a truck

i see some of you guys wanting big hp blower setups and honestly there isnt many for the truck guys beside procharger.

a friend of mine that built my 427 lsx does alot of sand cars and recenlty did a few whipple kits for trucks . these are the bigger 2.9 whipple . also has a cog setup in the works

thought you guys might enjoy some of these pics i took of some stuff at his shop

Seriously badass!!! What have the whippled trucks been putting down? And what is the TT'ed Bimmer V12 in?

which BMW engine is that in the last picture? They made very few V12s.. i think they were only in the 7 series sedans

850i, ci and csi in the 90's... and the Rolls-Royce Phantom

The fifth picture looks like it has mercruiser boat exhaust manifolds on it.

The pulley system on that motor in the 5th picture is crazy. Everything looks super legit

i dont like goin to his shop because its real easy to get carried away and spend extra money i dont have lol but sure enough he has alot of cool **** everywhere . im a magna charger fan but he says this 2.9 system walks all over the 2300

yeah the only thing bad is it also puts alot of stress on the bearing of the accesories. bearing on the alt , ps pump and water pump. thats why some do a dedicated supercharger belt and leave the accesories alone. however that adds more stress to the blower /crank/ternisoner idler since it moves them further away since it has to be put out past the stock accesory drive. its a catch 22 but this setup is working on a few setups now. the pullies looks like this now
