Thanks! DP is almost done need to finish some final welds, bung for O2, wastegate and blow off valve. Need to make an adapter for turbo inlet for the filter. oil supply and drain are done. I really should have gone 2" on cold pipes instead of 2.5". Really would have made alot of things easier. were getting close! hope to be done tomorrow or sat.

Please do not assume that a stock tune will work for everything. The reason why it might ave worked on your truck is because GM takes a bunch of timing out of some areas in the timing table. You dont know what this trucks tune is like. Have a back up motor handy.

Im not assuming anything until I fire it up. I do think it will be ok on low boost 3-5 psi. Plus I think i can get away with alittle more timing with our altitude. Were not planning on this thing running forever. its got 195K on it lol. I can pick up another low milage motor for a couple hundred bucks. I do know there is tuning available for these, just need to find out which one to go with.

Its Done! seems to run better. Were only running about 4-5 psi. It had a miss up high, pulled the plugs and saw their .075 gap, lol. Put in new plugs and runs better, It does have a slight hesitaion right off idle but thats about it. It might just be a throttle position sensor?? or the tune. Still need to check fuel pressure and depending if its low need to get an fmu. get some heat shielding an call it a day
