Now that is not what was happening to me.
My probelems were only under boost.
If I stayed out of it everything was ok.
Is your oil return line kinked or blocked and building up pressure maybe.
I know the return pump is low pressure but you may want to just pull the cap off with the line still attached and put it in a container, start it up and see if oil is flowing freely.
It will not pour out, but kind of burp up oil when the pump is in low speed mode.
You may need a bud to help do this in case you have to kill the engine quick, jump the terminals on the hobbs switch and see what kind of flow you get when the pump is in high speed mode.
This sounds like a diffenet isue than what I had, but I will do my best to helpyou look for things to check.
Please post back with progress or checks done.
Icidentally my dipstick was getting pushed out under boost too.

It would be nice if there was someone from STS who posted regular here.
I'm sure we are not the only users that have had some of these issues.
If we get enough users helping with these issues maybe new kit buyers will benefit from our testing and mods tothe STS system.
I'd like some firm numbers on how many STS kits are out and installed on the trucks so we can get a STS user list put together to discuss these things.
It seems some guys don't post up too much info after they do an install, maybe because they are out having too much fun burning rubber??
I keep trying to post up anything I feel is relevant or wasn't caused by a bone-headed set-up mod.
Even if I make some type of discovery, I am more than happy to warn or inform of things not to do.

ya... this is kind of odd. The line being kinked is another thing to check since we did drop the tranny a bit to get the old headers out... so there was some movement there.

now before all this he was blowing oil from the selinoid for the sts kit... not a lot but it was signifigant ONLY under boost.. now that it is blowing off during normal driving its getting even more strange. I hope you can figure it out Dave, looks like there is good help here, if you need any help with anything let me know, i have finals this week but they are all in the mornings and i'll be free friday morning.

Problem solved with new dipstick tube. Apparantly the old one was not sealing properly. Hopefully I can tap the oil pan in the next few days and the problem with the oil up front won't be an issue at higher boost.

I did this to mine and have no leaks from the cap since. I will be doing a billet cap eventually and probably make a dozen or so to sell for us poor STS guys.
I know its not pretty but it works. I also safety wired my cap and fill tube down, they are pretty loose from the factory and when cold will blow out oil if your crancase is seeing too much pressure.

I have seen that myself. Sometime it will do it if the switch valve is not wired right. It will push oil out the dipstick and through the valve cover gasket. It would never do it under boost only cruising at 80mph. If the connections are correct, you can adjust the switch to open sooner so it want pressurize the crankcase.
