Took my truck to my friends shop today. He did a leakdown and compression check and all's well. He's gonna run some more tests tommorow. I think in the mean time I will start looking at some check valves and maybe put together a PCV system with an oil separator.

Good to know the compression check came out OK. I also gave up on any line connecting the crankcase and intake.

Glad to here the engine is ok, I also gave up on the pcv system and went with a breather on the drivers side and a crankcase evac on the passenger side and works great so far.

Hey Jim,

I'm trying a dual filter setup from ams oil to over come the extra dirty in the oil -- I'll let you know how it turns out.

1Bad -- the dipstick tube thing is fairly common to STS systems -- they come with a valve and hobbs switch setup to allow the PCV in to draw atmosphere when the intake is under pressure. If that pump isn't ground correctly, or installed with the flow reversed, then you blowout the dipstick.

Since your engine is okay, just stay out of boost until you get it resolved. Unfortunately I don't know anything about the procharger kits these days -- call their tech support line and explain what's happening. You can vent both PCV ports to atmosphere, or run an exhaust-draw (but I've heard a lot of down side to this method lately).

Thanks for the info guys. At this point I'm keeping all options on the table until I over come this. If anyone has any pics of their evac or breather/check valve setup I would like to see them.
