Oil feed restrictor

I've been running a Precision turbo for almost three years now with no problems. Supply line is a -4, then welded(closed) the fitting that screws into the turbo and drilled a 1/16 hole. This is my only experiance with turbos, but a friend with lots of experiance does this and highly recomends this.

I have the biggest air filter on the intake directly mounted to the turbo. I am going with a larger Wastegate to make it easier to blead off pressure while towing under lower boost. I dont know if this has anything to do wioth the intake oil but I hope it helps.

So my oil system consists of -4 line back to the turbo, with a restrictor about 10" before the turbo. The oulet of the turbo runs straight to my pump- the nipple of the pump is below the level of the turbo drain.
You might try running power straight to the pump to see if it is an oil return problem- I know that even with my restrictor there is a good bit of oil flowing even at idle.
