as long as its low enough to gravity feed back without a bunch of tight bends in the hose I dont see why not... youre not going to get a ton of volume through it. I'd say all you need is to weld a fitting on the front of the cover where you need it and let'er rip! why not the oil pan though??

i'm just bored today i figured it would be more of a straight shot to the cover than the pan? why wouldn't it get a lot of volume through it? was going to use -10 or 12

youve only got a -3 or -4 feed line correct? a -10 is what most everybody uses to my knowledge. mine is 5/8 hose.

I think its been done... but if I had the choice to keep it away from an accessory belt I would. Just my opinion

We did it on our cutlass project. We just drilled and tapped the hole. The cover is thick enough to hold the fitting without welding in a bung.

Everyone that I know uses -12 for return, the bigger the better imo. Thats what I my truck has on it. You want that thing to be dumping the oil back.
