How about a PT88, 3.5 DP. Go for around 1000 HP. That should be able to pull a boat around.

I had a 72 on mine before and I think that was probably perfect. When i got the new turbo I just decided to go with a 76 just in case. I went with the ball bearing billet wheel to try and keep my spool time down but its still quite a bit laggy over the 72

did you tune the trans much? there was a denali with a 6l80 in it with longtubes and tvs1900 with 8psi on it..ran for 50000 hard miles and never a problum?

did you have the stock stall in with the 72 or 76?

You won't need a stall for the street stuff.

My truck on 9#s made 535AWHP with the 72mm and took out 4 transmissions although I did eventually up the boost to 12. I also started out with a 67mm turbo. It was fun and zero spool time but fell on its face up top. When you say hard miles to you mean leaving off the 2 step??? I do.
I had both stalls with the 72mm. I now have a stock stall with the 76mm.
