The truck has ever external motor bolt-on and a rebuilt 500rwhp phoenix transmissions with about 2000 miles on it. 2200 stall 3:42 rear end.
I just want the turbo for "better fuel millage if any" extra 100ish hp to get up hills with out down shifting and most importantly that beautiful spool and blow off sound .

The truck spark plugs look brand new when I changed them at 100,000 miles. The oil has been changed exactly ever 3000 miles and I use Lucas fuel injector cleaner every 5000 miles. Never dogged just floored once or twice every tank.
If I was to put new springs push rods and cam. What brands would work best? What kind of cam would work with a N/A motor and well with boost later.
I want a lot of power from 1000rpm to 3000rpm but I know turbos have to get up in the rpms to spool any input?
What do yall think about STS?
I just got a new gm fuel pump. Will that work with 4-6psi?

i say boost it. i think we all know, including you op, that a front mount is the way to go. put another fuel pump in it and start with more boost . a smaller a/r turbine housing can dictate your "lag" characteristic. intercooler is a must. don't get lost in how much other guys spend on there builds it can be done on the cheap.
