Well I got a lead on a 122 head unit priced fairly. SO I figured if I sell my 6L/112 I can get away pretty cheap for the 408/122 upgrade. Then next year I can get a 2300 on the cheap when Magnacharger releases the Mega Blower 6000 or whatever is next.

A GT2-3 in a 408? That would be one baby cam...

I personally think the 112 is just too small for that motor. If you're not trying to build a sub 12 second truck a 1900 with about 9-10psi will make a real nice number. But for $500 more, go 2300. Save yourself the hassle in the long run. It'll be easier to make a **** ton of power when you start getting that itch for more.

My 1900 with a 2.8 pulley made about 7.5lbs on my 408. The torque was insane from that setup, so much fun!

What was your CR and what numbers did it make?

11:1 and around 600 based on track times, but never got a chance to put it on a dyno

Hmm,
I've actually been looking for numbers to guesstimate what I will be making but it's actually kind of hard to find numbers for an NA 408.

I'm planning on 8-10psi. I make 470rwhp/501rwtq now and am hoping for a pretty big seat of the pants difference with a blown 408...
Think I can make 700rwhp with a TVS2300?

Think the 10 bolt will last?

I remember but I think he was pushing like 15psi with an 8 rib or cogged pulley setup, plus he's got 19ci on me. I think 700 might be pushing my luck but it's a goal

ray made 714 rwhp if Im not mistaken but he also added that phenolic spacers to help keep his IAT's in check.
