This is promising info. I have bought the 408. I am already quoting the price for a 2300. Looks like I will be doing a cam swap to something more blower friendly.
If a 1900 can make 7.5 on a 408 I dont see why a 2300 can't make 10.
Compression is 10.5 to 1, cam I was recommended was a 228/234 650/650 116. What do you guys think? Seems like a ton of lift...

Holy smokes....wouldn't use that much lift in a competition engine. That's nutz. It might make a few more hp than the same cam with less lift...but why fool with it. The valve springs that would live at those lifts will cost more than the cam.

I think my Patriot Extreme springs are rated at .675 , I still wouldnt run anything with that much lift. Really with stockish heads you dont need to go over like .580 IMO
