Out with the old maggie in with the new maggie

Thanks for all the compliments. I was also surprised when I looked at the thread on dyno hp, how few engine dynos are used on this forum. In my limited experience, engine dyno numbers make the best comparison tools as they have fewer variables like driveline loss issues but since my numbers are calibrated to sea level from my altitiude at 5000 ft there is always room to fudge. I feel confident that these are real numbers in that my engine builder regularly competes in the "engine masters" competition where the numbers from his dyno are duplicated by an independant tester. I will try to look around Denver where I believe there are several all wheel dynos just so we can put the driveline loss issue to rest for GM auto trannies. Same issue though since the chassis dyno will still have to be calibrated for sea level so who knows how accurate it will be. The good news is that maggie and a good engine builder can really put out a great and versitile product. No offense to you turbo guys but the power under the curve on this engine will be hard to beat. Hope to see you at the track.
