^^ this. I get more stock Toyota Camrys that want to try and play with my truck on the hwy than actual cars or trucks worth a challenge.

This last time home I pulled along side a Dodge SRT10 pickup and a Viper in town. The truck just looked at me and slowed down and the Viper flat stomped on the brakes the second I got into boost.

Lighter spring will probably get you back to 5 psi...backpressure is one factor in opening the gate, you have backpressure acting on the face of the gate and any reference signal on the bottom of the actuator pushing the valve open (to limit exhaust pressure driving the turbo), opposing the spring pressure and any reference pressure you have on the top of the actuator (trying to close the valve and increase pressure to the turbo).

more spring pressure=higher boost
restrict the reference pressure on the bottom side of the gate=higher boost
less backpressure on the gate=higher boost

less spring or more backpressure=lower boost

Just came in from putting some really stiff springs in my gate and just got a 3 bar map, hoping to be over 20 psi this week with any luck

I'll be interested to see what injectors you end up with. I'd like to have something drop in as well to replace my marines. FIC has 60-95 lb/hr Bosch's (@ 3 bar) for $600. I'm looking to do E85 so I'm considering those new 127s, price is up there though.
