Personal best with truck but still having issues. Suggestions welcome
03 scsb 6.0, Th400, ptc converter, ms3, 76 92 etr-ho,jfr 218,218. 3.08 gear, 30x9x15 slick, walbro 450 in tank, stock rails and reg. 80 lb S/D on e85
I made a few passes this weekend, best 11.28@117. @11 psi
Launch 3100 2 step t brake 2.7 psi
1.80 60
7.32 1/8
11.28 1/4 running out of fuel 8 sec into run.
I logged it and I am shifting at 6000 and shift drops to 5640 between shifts I was at 5700 when it ran lean.
I figure my gear is low and that will help my 60.
But 5700 rpm with 3.08 gear and 30" tire. I have 29% converter slippage.
During log I go 10.2 at Launch and 99 duty cycle and pulse width.that stays strong for 8 sec then I go lean all most instantly.
What do you all think?
I'm thinking converter over winter.but
3.42 gear to assist my 60 and maybe a secondary pump on a hobb switch at 8psi I have a 380 ready.
Open for ideas or past experiences.
Thank you

Are you running the stock fuel regulator or just rails? What fuel are you running? I may be misunderstanding / overlooking in your mod list.
I agree with Gadgetized on the dual 450's and if your running a stock regulator, I would recommend aftermarket. If ever planning on E85, dual pumps, regulator, larger fuel feed line&return, and injectors will be needed for sure to keep IDC's in check depending on HP / ET goals.

Not sure on how I would install 2 450's in tank. My 03 basket is small.

Ok. On E85 you need more fuel pump for sure. E85 needs ~30% more fuel than pump gas. I would look at dual Walbro 450's, hot wire kit (racetronix makes a nice kit with hobbs switch), bigger feed (-8 or -10), return (-8) & regulator, and maybe some ID 1300's since your on E85 (expensive but nice). Depending on your HP / ET goal, the 80's may work.
Under the Fuel Systems section you can find several nice write ups on the dual pump install. Some are swapping to newer fuel tank / basket if I remember correctly.
