Physical Range of 90mm LS2 vs 78mm TB

I do have the sensors moving in their stock directions and I'm using the 02 TAC module.
The real test will be when I bolt the TB back on the truck.

Thanks guys. It was a little tense when I soldered the wire onto the 1.0mm wide bit of gold trace at the end of the potentiometer for sensor 1. Then I went to close up the TB and the wire ripped the trace right off the board. Well solder wont stick to that black film. Do you know how long you have to hold a wire perfectly still until silver epoxy sets? Luckily no wires will have to be attached at that point for this to work with an 02 TAC module.

Put everything back together yesterday then I noticed that the blade was sticking a little in the fully closed postion after bolting up the TB. So I pulled the TB off again to adjust it. Then I thought of another circuit board mod so I cracked open the TB again. Full range of TPS1 is now 0.5 - 4.1V so at 3.9V I should be slightly more open than the stock 78mm TB that has a range of 0.5- 4.2V on TPS1.
I'll finish up the write-up later today or tomorrow after I get a chance to drive it.

Wonder if this would also help by big dead spot?... as in the 1st 30% of throttle is useless (again). I used BlownChevy's TPS Max vs RPM vs % Max Available Torque table he suggested and it worked the first test drive... after that it "learned" and went back to the dead 1st 30%. I tried removing all of the torque management... no dice. I guess there is something else regarding the 06's that just does not correlate with the 02-05 trucks.

If this was a plug & play mod, then it would be worth it. Though I'm just not seeing $800 being worth it for a 90mm TB mod that doesn't work properly.

As soon as I see what all is involved in DrX's mod, I'll look into a plug and play circuit, but from what I read I don't believe it's a plug in type of mod -- which isn't say the solution can't be made easy, just probably no black box to put between two plugs kind of thing.
