Picked up new heat exchanger today
Got me a new powerdyne 3 row heat exchanger made for the harley's and the L's. Its the aftermarket one that measures 8.5" x 25" x 3.25".....should help me a lot compared to my stock one that measures 7" x 23" x 1.25". Not sure if Im going to mount the stock one down low and mount the new one where the stock one is now, or just not use the stock one at all. What do you guys think? Would I see any real difference using both since the stock one is so thin anyway? Man that powerdyne is a thick sucker for sure, i will get some pics when it gets here.

Here are some shots of the heat exchanger. I should be doing the install this weekend. I sure hope there is enough room to fit this sucker in there, its gonna be close. Its quite a bit larger than the stock one and by the looks of it, it should provide a good bit of cooling.

I was thinking the same thing, but i will take what I can get. I have yet to have this intercooler show temps more than 125 degrees even in warm ambient temps. It will creep up to 110 or so at a red light after a few minutes if ambient temps are in the 80's or above. I posted a log of my last track run in the tuning section(last weekend) and you could see the IATs actually dropped a couple of degrees by the end of the 1/4. I brought some ice to try out my new oversized reservoir but with 89* IATs, i just didnt need it. Just trying to get as much cooling effect as I can and I figured this big thing sure couldnt hurt any. Im diggin your new PIC grippy!
