88 psi? I've never heard of anyone using higher than a 1:1 boost reference. Or are you running 30 psi boost?

Anyway, the tech at Magnafuel told me that they don't consider anything less than 3 psi loss in fuel pressure to be a problem. Going by that, and from my experience, you are nearly in the "melt your engine" range.

How do you calc that? I am running 12# and my FP goes up to 72psi with both pumps on with no loss in FP.

A 1:1 boost-referenced regulator will raise the fuel pressure, from the base setting, one psi for every psi of boost. So with your 72 psi fuel pressure, I would guess that your base pressure is 60 psi. Base pressure is what your fuel pressure is at 0 psi manifold pressure, pump on engine not running, or WOT naturally aspirated.

Congratulations on such a capable fuel system.

Now that I reread this, you have a 48 psi swing in FP? That sounds like a nightmare to tune...

Never see 88 on fuel gauge. Just starts to ramp pressure up to try and supply enough fuel.

I have the Magnavolt booster. I have yet to install it yet though, Justin thought it might be too rich. Anybody ever run one? Looks like I could install it or look into a different pump. I wouldn't think I need dual pumps. Thanks
