Pistons and rods..best bang for buck

What do you "get" with the higher priced pistons and rods? Don't have any interest in the cheap heavy stuff. I don't mind spending a few extra bucks if it gets more more reliability (and peace of mind). I think the engine would maybe top out at 750 flywheel hp. I don't plan on spinning it past 6000rpm. That's one of the beauties of the TVS. You don't have to spin the snot out of it to get good power.

BTW, I thought the Howard's rods were $600 or so. I looked a little & found they're $825-925. Rated @ 800HP & @ 1000HP tho.
IIRC, Scat makes some engine components or blanks for other manfacturers too.
