Maybe someone can confirm this, I read you can use your washer fluid for your windshield and your meth kit (I ran a google search, and I found it to be common to use washer fluid as your methanol -since washer fluid is basically methanol and water, as long as it is blue fluid and good to -20 degrees) So it seems like you could keep the washer fluid tank for your windshield and also for the meth kit, just make another hole in the tank for the pump feed

Another vote for Julio at Alky Control. Awesome guy, extremely helpful. Bought one of their kits used off another forum, and he said to ship it to him so he could test it and make sure everything was working for FREE! I ended up going E85 instead, but I was blown away that he was willing to go through my used kit that I didn't even buy from him for free to make sure everything was 100%.

Has anyone used Coolmist? I was thinking of going with them for the truck and Camaro.

I have a devilsown kit, I personally prefer the plastic lines over the braided, looks much cleaner to me. They use no rubber hose or clamps either, it's like the plastic tubing your washer fluid system used with the push-in fittings. No problems whatsoever with mine in the past few years.

and as far as reducing IATs, i have a very knowledgeable friend who spends more time building cars/trucks than he does on his actual day time job who has repeatedly told me NOT to go with a meth kit because he claimed that he had little gain in HP from adding meth to his truck and absolutely NO drop in IATs from before the kit was installed. anyone have any feedback on this? i trust this guys opinion against almost anything and i doubt he would steer me in the wrong direction. i just dont understand how so many people have seen recorded and drastic drops in their IATs from adding a meth kit and his story is the exact opposite.
was he using a 50/50 water/meth mixture, or straight meth? Water has way more latent heat value and therefore removes alot more heat from your intake charge than meth.

Bringing this thread back from the dead, im planning on making a DIY meth kit.... It makes perfect sense to put the meth nozzle before the iat sensor but i belive the one i have is not able to get wet! Does anyone ever mount it after the sensor? What size jets are guys running with 20+ boost and 1000-1200 hp?

I am removing my snow kit this weekend and have it sold...No problems with it but I live in North Texas with a Radix so it basically had no effect on my IATs so I have decided to declutter my engine bay
