Afew ?'s:

1) What engine?
2) How much can you spend
3) How much power do you want
4) How often and where do you drive the truck
5) And the real question is what do you prefer; a blower or a turbo

I always put this in these threads and i know that its a downer, but unless you change alot on the topend, the fuel becomes and issue on the 5.7 vortec engines..I dont think that there is a real injector upgrade available.

but to answer your question, i would probably do a supercharger on the 5.7, there are probably more options and examples of superchargers on that engine instead of turbos.

haha, why am i not surprised..Seriously though, i am all for using turbos esp from what i have seen lately, i just know that there is limited tuning ability with fuel and what not for that engine...that being said, i think a turboed 5.7 would be cool as **** and if you pull it off, it could possibly give me something to think about.

What mods are done to the motor to achieve those HP figure? Are you talking RWHP or NET HP? I'm curious because most people go high compression to make more power and that could cause problems with forced induction as well as the lack of tuning ability on the old trucks.
