Default Procharger boost.

Anyone else getting more boost with the colder weather? In the summer i was boosting 10psi. When it started getting cold aroung 50-60 degrees I started boosting 12psi. This morning it was 34 degrees and I got on it on my way to work and I was boosting 16 psi. Kind of scared me. Had to get out of it. Dont want to blow my motor.

Well colder air is more dense but a 6psi increase seems high. I would expect 1 or 2 psi tops. Maybe other who live in cold places will chime in. I'm still in shorts and flip flops

Have you ever had any belt slip issues? I know they are common on the prochargers, if you are not tuned for it a extra 6psi can kill a engine real quick. Do you happen to have a scan of it.. I wouldnt do anymore wideopen pulls until it is straightened out. Did your butt o meter reflect the increased boost? Clogged Cats could contribute I would think but... I dont know

I can watch my boost gauge and see it slipping. It looks like it is having a seizure the way it goes up and down.
