5 min to Reno from my house 10-15 to down town. I don't usually take the truck out in the winter. There has been snow on the ground here for a month now and they switched from sand to 1/8" gravel for the ice and they don't clean it up till spring. Let me know and if it's not slick out we can go for a spin.

FLT will always have my business as I have had zero problems with this trans and I feel like it was worth every penny. I have maybe 10-15 1/4 launches on it with this setup 408 F1R and 15psi. I'v had the trans for 2 year last Nov and only drive the truck on weekend so all in all 20-30 1/4mile runs and 30-40 WOT's from a roll. It has lived trough the stock motor+8psi, built 408+ 8-10psi and now built 408 and 14-16psi. I dose have a billet output shaft. Just last month before the weather turned I was at red light the intersection was huge 8 lanes total to cross so I took off normal and half way trough the intersection( after I saw no LEO either way) I just matted the skinny pedal and it lit up all 4's for a good 30 feet at least. That was the last time I took the truck out poor thing been sitting in the garage with other neglected toys.

Thanks for the info. I will be ordering a tranny next week, but I can't decide on if I want the FLT LV5 or if I want to do the 80e swap. I know of you and a few others that are running big power through a built 60e and are having good luck. I guess I have to make a decision before next week!
