i thought about the filter right on the back of the procharger but then thought that it will be to hot next to the engine like 150ish degrees, so having a costum cold air set made to keep the air temps down.

will have pics soon when whole set up is done.

i had a custom intake on mine once upon a time ago but the problem is the more intake you have the hotter your air is going to be since it has to travel through it when the tube get hot.

^^ also will drop boost. We have the lovely Alaskan air so my IAT's are usually never a problem

Thats one thing I never liked about the prochargers. And there really isnt a "great" way to get cold air into the charger. I think I would just do a bigger intercooler and meth lol.

The filter being where it is isn't a issue. I logged temps back when it was in the 95-100 deg range and my IAT's were under 100 deg IIRC. I posted a thread about it on the results. That was using a decent size IC. I am sure if I added a bigger one it would have been even cooler.

Right, but the filter laying across the coils isnt doesn't really have a lot of eye appeal either.

The massive suction of air rushing past the coil packs cools them, and adds 15 hp.
