the reason i was wondering about the oil press. gauge is because of the oil drain on the turbo, I have some knowledge of turbo's but never have owned anything turbo'd thats why i was wondering if the oil drain had enough press. going through it to cause problems.

Only causes issues if you don't change the oil regularly enough, or if the oil lingers in the turbo due to a poorly set up return line. Either way, the heat from the turbo is going to reduce the life of your oil. I believe foose04 posted up a pretty good article about that a few weeks back.

yea i've seen the article, and thanks for clearing that up i assumed it wouldn't but then thought about it and wondered if there was enough pressure going through the oil drain to do some damage. its cleared up now
