WOW that looks awesome. I didn't price the other brackets but I got my bracket for 500. I can tell you that the new bracket is a hell of a lot sturdier than the stock bracket. I didn't realize how much my old bracket flexed until I installed this one.

That might be too much for a D1 but tempting ,mine def needs something better. I can grab ahold of the supercharger and actually get it to move back and forth some. There's got to be a way to beef the mount.

Like Jason said he smoked the 8 rib at 14psi.. My blower has a 5.4:1 gear ratio 8 rib is not enough for a f1r with my bracket... Now f body setup with a short *** belt tight as hell might spin it

one thing that could be the problem with trying to drive the f1c and f1r with an 8rib setup is the weak *** stock tensioner. i went ahead and bought one of the upgraded magnacharger belt tensioners when i bought the 8rib setup and that bitch is strong. i only have a d1sc but hopefully soon i will have an f1c. And if i remember correctly 2004sss(chase)(even though he had a vortech supercharger) still had belt slip problems after going 8rib until he went with the upgraded tensioner, maybe he can chime in on that.

I did a lot of research on driving a F1R with a 8 rib before going with the cog drive. Spent a lot of time over at the Ford Renegade forums where the class is limited to 8rib belts and the only way those guys could spin the 5.4:1 step up ratio F1R blower was to run a gates belt piano string tight and change it every other run to drive the blower to max impeller RPM. If you only need 14 or so PSI go for it but anymore and I have found few to none doing it, As for Chase the vortech blowers are 3.5:1 gear ratio so they take even less power to turn the dirve so yes 8rib is ideal, In fact the Vortech blower (YSI) was the blower of choice for the Renegade class for its forgiving gear ratio but the Procharger F1R wound yield higher boost and more power if you could spin it. I did research on this for about a month before I decided to go cog. If your goping with a F1C you might try the 5.0:1 gear ratio its not as hard to spin as the 5.4:1.
