I am just trying to stress what I have been through and the money spent has been trying with this big *** blower I just want to let everyone know a 5.4:1 blower would work perfect with the new Procharger Cog Bracket and Jasond26 Im jealous it will work flawless Im sure.

I will be honest I followed your build and was going to go that route. I was like you though I kept seeing the old school procharger brackets that are on the small block fords and chevys and thought that would be awesome. I called procharger last year and asked them if they thought that older bracket would work on a ls based engine and they told me they were in the r&d stage for that exact style bracket.
lol..I did not want to spend the money either I was just going to deal with what I had and upgrade my tensioner bracket if I could but the guys at procharger called me and said the retro bracket was available...so here I am.
I like to see the guys on here push these different setups on the trucks..lots of potential with all the different forced induction routes.

do you have the 99-02 bracket or the 03-06 bracket? i had the old style bracket and now have the 03-06 bracket and it feels more sturdy to me.
one thing that could be the problem with trying to drive the f1c and f1r with an 8rib setup is the weak *** stock tensioner. i went ahead and bought one of the upgraded magnacharger belt tensioners when i bought the 8rib setup and that bitch is strong. i only have a d1sc but hopefully soon i will have an f1c. And if i remember correctly 2004sss(chase)(even though he had a vortech supercharger) still had belt slip problems after going 8rib until he went with the upgraded tensioner, maybe he can chime in on that.

What is the difference between the two brackets ? The one in your pic looks the same as mine.

been through similar issues here as well...
have made a few changes that seems to have helped...
one was welding some ribs across the front of the bracket...this really helped eliminate flexing
another was to address the tensioner...I have 3 pulleys I use now...I use the stock 72mm one with the shortest belt I can fit on there...when it stretches - and it will - I change out to a 90mm pulley...I recently got a 127mm for when the belt stretches to the point that the pulley is resting beyond the half way mark on the tensioner...
the 127mm pulley looks like it ought to be on the front of a Snapper push mower!
All of this was done after moving the ProCharger idler pulleys for better wrap on the D1's pulley AND tig welding the water pump pulley to the shaft after snatching it off twice...
I'll post up some pics of the bracket and the "Snapper" pulley later tonight if I get a chance...
