Default procharger or magnacharger for my 5.3

guys i have chevy avalanche 2008 model

i found a 1 month used procharger for a good price and in a good condition the kit was on a chevy silverado 2007 model 5.3 would it fit direct to my car since they have the same engine.

or should i buy a magnacharger the new 122 tvs

both setup would be on boost 6 or 7

i have now kooks minifold + y pipe + corsa catback

so which one to go for ?? which got more hp on boost 6 cuz ive read in a discussion that procharger has to be on high boost to get its power !!

my goal is 450rwhp+ ?? which one to go??

I'm going to tell you TVS for good power range, reliabilty, completeness of kit and cost. Nothing else compares. The 122 is a gen 5 blower, the TVS (either R19000 or R2300) is the gen 6. I love my TVS, it's quiet and pulls hard enough to scare the crap out of me sometimes

Depends on where you want your power. A centrifugal needs RPMs to tap its power (higher RPM = more power), whereas a modified roots like the Magnacharger has full power on tap throughout the RPM range.

Prochargers are a better fit on light weight vehicles. Your Avie ain't light. You'll have the low end power available immediately vs having to get in the higher rpm ranges with the p/charger. Easy decision (at least for me, anyway).

When did you get a TVS?!? I knew u had a Radix 112, but...

As for original question, TVS. No question. Between TVS & Procharger, no contest for me. Some of reports I've read on TVS, either 1900 or 2300 is insane power. Beyond what I'll ever need. I think. If I did a Radix 112, & bolted on everything I want, & that wasn't enuff. I would use a TVS, nothing else. Unless, it was turbo.

def go with a TVS either a 1900 or the 2300 the procharger needs RPMs to create power the TVS is a low end stump puler from what i hear

PSI is displacement and exhaust dependent.

And also belt dependent. From what I've seen 10 psi is about all you can get with a stock 6 rib before belt problems. Upgrade to wider belt and an overdrive balancer, and I think you could get to 13-15 out of a 1900 depending on the motor and setup.
