Radix for what your going to be doing with it.... You will like the torque on demand for that heavy truck. Procharger are only good if your going to be going to extreme.

Id have to disagree with that. I towed quite a bit with my procharger, sure it didn't have the low end like the radix but it actually worked very well! The prochager makes it seem like a larger cube built motor. The power is gradual so the more rpms you make the stronger it feels.

Procharger is just fine for towing. Under load they make boost just fine.

another thing to consider is noise, i beleive the prochargers are quite noisey, would be an issue for me, maybe not you

yes, the procharger is pretty damn noisy. my radix is silent driving normally, but LOUD when you nail it.

This is complete BS. Talk about sucking on the Mag. pipe. I've got Vette graphs up the ying yang from Magna's ,prochargers,vortechs,paxtons ect that show differently.Expecially the lack of midrange the graph above tends to lead people about centrificals.

Sorry,that comparison graph always ticks me off

As for your truck I would do the Magnacharger due to the lack of torque of the 4.8. Of course if it was up to me I would put a bigger motor in it instead like a 6.0 or even a cheap build 408ci and have the same power NA.(future add FI on top)
