Yeah last quote I recieved for the rebuild and upgrade to D-1 was around $1800

if you want to rebuild and upgrade the cheapest way to do it is to go through a dealer. You pay the dealer and they give you an rma number to send to procharger with your head unit. The dealer i talked to quoted me $1200 almost a year ago. you can pm me for more info if interested because they are not a sponsor.

LOL - indeed the sound of a Procharger is unique. I still remember the night last fall when I picked up my Escalade from the shipper, and heard the engine running and thought to myself "WTF! What have I paid all this money to ship this thing to Canada and it sounds lke that?!!! My wife is gonna kill me!".

And then I found out that is how they are supposed to sound. LOL.

1800 is not bad for an upgrade like that. Thanks for the info!

Let me know how much louder the D1 is compared to the P1. I have a D1 and think its loud.

I wish my P1 was louder. I love the way it sounds, I get compliments all the time. People are like "What have you got under the hood of that thing?"
