I'm thinking of putting a D1SC [intercooled] on my 1999 5.3 at 8-9 psi of boost with a Westers tune for the charger.Are 44# injectors and a 255lph in tank fuel pump going to be enough for this set up?

You should be fine.... Me personally I would go with 60lbs inj. to give you plenty of room to grow.

Yes, I run the Delphi 43# factory style injectors on my Denali at 11lbs, tuned with HP Tuners. They are maxed out, but they are working great. If you plan to do any further mods, you might consider a set of 60# injectors.

I would go ahead and spend the money on the 60 pound injectors, unless you are one of the very few that will actually stop and perform no more performance mods, lol. The fuel pump will be fine and you can add a BAP down the road if needed. Westers does very good mail order tunes, I used him when I was runing the Whipple for a bit before I had the truck dyno tuned. I would reccomend getting the truck dyno tuned though as soon as you can. Better to be safe than sorry.

I ran stock pump and 42lb.ers and was fine with that at 10psi.

I meant the 255lph would be fine. I will say, I ran a stock fuel pump with the whipple all the way to 442rwhp with no problem, but that is taking a chance. If you dont want to go through the hassle of changing your pump you could just go with a BAP and be fine at that boost level.

Depending on if you pump can keep up then yes, you can use the stock pump up to a certain point. Im still using my stock pump.
