5.3,Milled & worked 243 heads , compcam 227/243 .614 .624 114 , d-1 17lbs at 6400 low timing do to knock sensor was bad , e-85 , 103lb inj ,long tubes , 4l60 , 4200 converter
Made 590rwhp
It's a street truck so only track times I had a best of 11.80's lifting at the 1000' mark on a radial with the rev limiter low and the same timing it was dynoed on
It has more in it - gonna take it to 6800 with more timing , and if im not happy after that I'll grab the button lol

Damn that sounds like a fun truck. I want to build the motor up a little more than want to get up into the teens for boost.

I have 1997 chevy scsb and i still have the the vortec 5.7 in it. I was wonder if they make a D1 that fits my motor but the discharge side points towards the fire wall so I can keep my same intercooler setup and ditch the whipple that only makes 8-9psi. My motor was built for boost and would like to run 14-15psi. Any info would be great thank Chase.

They make a kit but it's the P1 so you would have to custom order it with the D1.

From their site

They make kits for that year truck, it goes in the same location as all the ones for 99-12 trucks. But the brackets are different as well as the clocking of the blower. They sit slightly at a angle as to where ours sit strait up and down.

Thanks guys, just trying to figure out a way to keep my air/water intercooler setup the way it is and run a D1.
