Looks more like pitting on the #8. Can't see much on the others that are gunked up. Guess number #8 got washed down running without spark. Something on the #2 plug.

Actually, lools like pitting on the top portion of the piston. Could be aluminum spray on the lower half.

I'd exhaust it to the atmosphere after seeing all of the oil on everything in the second set of pics.

is your intake mani custom too? is it possible for uneven air distribution? doubtful but very odd/heartbreaking . i cant imagine having to pull apart my 427 so soon after . hopefully just pistons need to be replaced.

That really sucks! The internals look like hell for such low mileage. Something must be wrong with the setup.

with your set-up I think it was necessary. You cant have that much power and not double check everthing, and still end up pushing parts to the breaking point, if this did not happen you would not have torn down the motor to check it out, making lemonade here

Possibly leaks at the intake ports.

Looks like excess heat or detonation according to the electrodes on 4 and 8.

8, 4 & 7 plugs all show signs of detonation at different levels. Brown speckling on the white porcelin is one sign of detonation. 5 & 6 may have some as well.
Of course too low of octane, too lean, excessive IAT's, and oil intrusion into the cyl all contribute to detonation.
Tough luck man.
