Lower intake is just an open box, much like the new Magnacharger and Harrop designs. I think that the boost would fill all the cylinders evenly, but not certain that there were no intake to head leaks, which could screw everything up.

I concur with your intake leak having caused the problem. This will wreak havoc on the best of intentions. Did your gaskets show any sign if pinching, tears, misalignment or uneven compression?

Uneven compression. It would be very easy to chew up the gaskets though while trying to shoehorn the fully assembled setup onto the engine. Its a very tight squeeze getting it under the cowl.

so next time take the cab off. install SC's onto the motor then set the cab back down on the frame.

Many of the diesel guys have to lift the cab to get the diamond eye downpipes on, all they do is loosen all the cab bolts till they barely engage the threads in the body/core support and use two floor jacks to lift the cab 2ish inches. Makes all the difference in the world
