Push all the limits you want and from what I hear an FLT tranny will take the abuse, mine's on the way so I don't have any experience on it yet but that will resolve one of your problems.

Any time you add a super charger or anything else and start banging on it you can break parts, I have a 04 SSR 5.3 5,080 lbs. with me in it, Looked good but was a dog so I added a super charger and better tune, It run 13.90's@100 and after 3 months my tranny was shot, Knew it was coming so had it bullet proofed and added a 2800 stall, Better tune and it run 13.30's, Now Have headers, Rockers, alky spray, run 12.70's @106 on pump gas and got 22 mpg with the ac on driving to the strip, Get the tune worked out and if I could find wheels and tires it would run 11's, Can't beat forced induction
