Well put a 3.4 pulley on the old d1 got a smaller belt and put some belt dressing on the belt" sticky stuff" and went out to do a couple pulls and this happened as soon as it shifted out of first at 14psi.....

I have never seen that before. Could be an isolated incident... Whats the status of your tensioner?

Is it the stock tensioner? You might need a beefier one. Slack in the belt on the downshift can move it on a flat pulley like the water pump pulley, enough to pop off the side just enough to wrench the bitch right off of the pump.

Well ****, I don't know what to tell ya. Sounds like a one-off kind of break. Was it a clutch fan to e fan conversion, or was it always e fan?

Easy Fix bro!

Just put the pulley back on and weld it on the end.

Its been discussed before i have seen, so before i installed my blower i put a " dab" of weld on the end of my water pump pulley. No Problems !!!

Stock water pump is fine . I wouldnt mess with electric.

14 psi !!! That feels good!!!
