I read your putting in a 5.3L with a 4L80, good move for a tow vehicle. I pull a 25' camper with my 5.3L/Maggie(3.73) and I love the way it pulls my camper now. I have never seen tranny temps over 190* since installing my Radix but I will be installing a 40k cooler this spring. Hills/entrance ramps are NO longer any problem when towing since Radix install. Sure makes getting there and coming home a lot more entertaining!
Oh...I'm using a 3.3" pulley.

It will tow fine, by friend borrowed my 24ft. to tow his car with a rcsb 4x4 and a 5.3 no blower. I do agree that a longer vehicle would be better but you will be fine with as much as you tow with it.
