ive ben piecing together my kit and im not in the hole any $$... mostly from selling old NA parts and replacing them with the FI parts....
if u really want to do it yourself .... u can do it for about 2k...... but thats with u doing 75% of the work... all the fabbing and mocking up, if u have friends that are good at welding... treat them to dinner or a case of beer if they help u weld up ur pieces.... ebay is your friend too....

By the time it is said and done after getting a turbo, wastegate, blow off, hot parts, charge pipes, intercooler, boost controller, gauges, fuel pump, injectors, couplers and clamps, mod your exhaust or get new one, and the multiple other things that go with doing this you will more than likely have around 7k in the kit if not more. You start adding in methanol and other supporting mods then you will likely go higer than that. Just buy one part at a time......save up for the hot parts, then turbo, then wastegate..........etc.............And take my advise dont buy cheap **** just to get it going. Buy good stuff the first time and cry once.
