Default question on the wires of iat sensor

i looked at the grannetali maf and the black and tan wires are sliced off the connector theres only about 1inch in length. i was noticing that the black and tan wired run into the radix manifod. why is that use for. just curios to know. and how can i connect the new iat sensor if those wired are use to the radix.

The cut wires should be hooked to the new IAT sensor installed in the front of your Radix intake manifold,if it's installed correctly.

You don't need another IAT sensors for your PCM.Unless, you want to install a probe for a external IAC guage like they did in GM hightech magazine. You won't see any performance gains from that mod, unless you combine the setup with some serious tuning software.

im going with the sd tune and 2bar,i want to relocate the iat sensor in between the tb and the meth injectors so the reading can be more accurate.

The current IAT location will give a truer reading for tuning purposes, after the intercooler. The PCM will see the temps that your intake runners see entering the cylinders.

You should keep the IAT sensor where it is AFTER the blower. That is where it is most accurate, even with the meth. The PCM need to know what the actual IAT that is going into the motor. Putting it in between the Meth nozzle and the TB won't give the PCM an accurate reading, as the air is heated by the blower. Make since?

if you intercooled and meth injected you want the IAT down stream of both of them.
